The "MV type" is an inline viscous sensor with KHK certified, and compatible with sanitary specifications. The two metal rods at the tip vibrate laterally, applying shear force to the fluid. With a vibration frequency of 70Hz and a vibration amplitude large enough to be felt by touch, as the viscosity of the fluid increases and the restraining force on the vibrating element grows, the attenuation of the vibration amplitude is accurately detected.
