Zebra AltiZ is a high-precision 3D profile sensor that has won the Vision System Design 2020 Innovators Awards in the 3D Imaging category. Its unique dual-camera and single-laser configuration significantly reduces optical effects such as scan gaps (shadows) commonly seen in single-camera setups. The sensor incorporates Zebra Technologies' proprietary algorithms, which intelligently integrate or select pixel data obtained from the two image sensors to automatically generate various types of reliable 3D data (individual profiles, depth maps, point clouds).
