■Power and Safety of Hypochlorous Acid Hypochlorous acid is a disinfectant component introduced in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's virus suppression manual as a virus countermeasure in nursing homes and daycare centers. It is a familiar component that plays an active role in various fields such as pool disinfection, baby bottle sterilization, purification of tap water, and washing of food ingredients. It quickly penetrates not only the surface of bacteria and viruses but also their interiors, resulting in a rapid decomposition speed of organic matter and excellent disinfecting and virus suppression capabilities. Additionally, after reacting with organic matter, it returns to water, making it safe to use.
