The "GZD4000" is a switching mode DC stabilized power supply manufactured by Daiichi Denpa Kogyo. It is used when operating a vehicle-mounted radio as a base station with a DC12V power supply. It features an LED digital meter for voltage and current readings, making it easier to see in the dark or at night. The DC current is capable of a continuous output of 35A, with a maximum output of 40A. It has tough durability and can continuously output at the rated output current. Equipped with an overvoltage protection circuit that prevents damage due to circuit load when overvoltage is detected, it can protect against damage from lightning strikes. It also has a forced air cooling fan to dissipate heat from the main unit.
