The fiber coupling reference gas cell is available in various configurations suitable for near-infrared inspection. The standard configurations include acetylene, hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, water vapor, and hydrogen fluoride, but several other gases and mixtures are also available. The housing accommodates path lengths of 3 cm, 5.5 cm, 16.5 cm, 48 cm, and 80 cm (the latter two utilize a folded optical system within a multipath housing). The fiber connectors are FC or SC, and either PC or APC. An integrated photodetector output is also available as an option.
