The wettability of liquids/solids such as ink and semiconductor components, as well as the coating performance of lotions and the wettability of artificial biological components (synthetic skin, prosthetic limbs, organs), can be used in a very wide range of applications. The contact angle of high-viscosity liquids like molten polymers can also be easily measured. Additionally, the process of liquid absorption can be evaluated using high-speed cameras. Continuous measurements of advancing angle, receding angle, and tilting angle are also possible.
