Taiyo Industry Co., Ltd. is a paint manufacturing company specializing in high-brightness metallic paints primarily for automotive interior and exterior parts (OEM). Taiyo Industry aims to leverage its unique expertise in metallic and luminescent paints to remain a manufacturer that is always one step ahead in this field. In 1962, we began research and development of metallic paints, which were mostly imported and considered special paints at the time, and after several years, we successfully developed them. We then started in-house production of metallic paints, which have been our main products for about 50 years, supplying them continuously to this day. To achieve a more metallic appearance in metallic paints, the results of years of accumulated research and development blossomed in 1996 with the successful development of Metal Star, an ultra-high-brightness metallic paint that surpasses the aesthetic qualities of conventional metallic paints. In October 1997, it was adopted for mass production in automotive exterior parts, and we have since been committed to stable quality and supply.
