Producing profitable parts with Markforged 3D printers! Contributing to the company's revenue growth.
Gühring UK manufactures custom cutting and milling tools for large companies around the world. Depending on the size and complexity of the components, it used to take up to 8 weeks to design, test, and manufacture using special tools in-house. Therefore, we adopted the Markforged Metal X system and a composite 3D printer that utilizes continuous fiber carbon. We have received feedback that by 3D printing parts instead of manually machining them, we were able to significantly reduce lead times from the validation of tool design to tool printing. [Case Summary] ■ Reduced production time: 66% ■ Cost reduction for jigs: 75% ■ Weight reduction for jigs: 60% *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
