"Cara-Curi" is a linear telescopic arm robot that uses actuators at the fixed part. Thanks to its unique mechanical mechanism, it can control the hand's "bowing" and "rotation" while extending and retracting the arm. Since the motor is not located at the tip of the hand, it can be used underwater or in radiation environments. Additionally, the arm's extension and retraction are achieved through screw feeding, resulting in good positioning accuracy. The absence of an elbow joint allows for easier passage into narrow spaces and thin holes.
