"Sandwich molding" is a molding technology that uses a dedicated molding machine to simultaneously inject different materials, allowing for the creation of structures with a skin layer and a core layer. It can be molded using a single mold designed for conventional single-color injection molding, enabling multi-material layered molding within a single clamping operation. Additionally, the functionality is enhanced through multi-color and multi-layering, such as surface modification effects using functional resins in the skin layer and prevention of sink marks in thick products.
