The food ingredients are supplied from a quantitative supply device to the main body of the dryer, while hot air at 300 to 450°C is simultaneously introduced from the hot air generator into the main body. Through the joint action of hot air and stirring blades, the moisture content of the ingredients, which is around 80%, is dried to below 8%. The dried material is separated by a cyclone and rotary valve and sent to the next process. Some of the exhaust is returned to the hot air generator and reused as heated steam after reheating. By utilizing this heat recovery system, the lining costs can be reduced by 10 to 20%. 【Features】 ■ To prevent degradation of ingredients and microbial growth due to changes in transport time and temperature conditions, Yasujima can provide food-specific transport equipment tailored to the customer's manufacturing site.
