The board-mounted coaxial receptacle 'CMS1953' for automotive equipment targets the transmission applications of high-speed serial interfaces, which have seen rapidly increasing demand in recent years. It ensures a broad frequency range and robust shielding performance for EMC measures, compared to conventional coaxial connectors for analog signals. By adopting a unique locking structure from Hosiden, it provides a good locking feel and robustness that meets the requirements of almost all automotive manufacturers. It can be connected to the industry’s smallest class of compact relay plug 'HPC1152', which can pass through a Φ10.5 hole and contributes to improved layout flexibility. It offers five key variations to meet the needs of multiple uses, such as integrated ECUs and omnidirectional camera systems. The size is 11.2mm × 9.5mm × 17.7mm (height × width × depth on the board). The mounting method has been designed to balance transmission characteristics and mounting strength, with signal terminals using SMT and shield terminals utilizing a through-hole reflow hybrid type.
