In the medical device parts precision machining industry, addressing scratches on various products with irregular and tapered shapes was an urgent issue. As a countermeasure, we considered devices utilizing multi-joint robots and loaders; however, these had strong elements of dedicated machines and were costly, ranging from 8 million to 12 million yen. After introducing Dacon Anshin, we were able to arrange one piece per pallet, eliminating the need for setup changes when switching to similar products. Additionally, we were able to equip the system within the customer’s budget of 3 million yen.
