The "VD-7N type" has a function that automatically introduces air into the negative pressure section to prevent the reverse siphon effect in the water supply system. It is a vacuum breaker used in piping sections where water pressure is always applied but reverse pressure does not occur. It incorporates a check valve and introduces air from the intake valve to reliably prevent backflow.
