Floating (Suspended) Sludge Recovery Device U-Clean AP-1G Type
U.ENG manufactured floating recovery device for oil, sludge, and foam, model AP-1G12PL.
The "U-Clean AP-1G type" is a floating oil recovery device that uses an air pump to powerfully suction floating contaminants from the cutting fluid tank.
**Features** 1. The air pump is a revolutionary oil recovery device that does not require maintenance, as it has no mechanical parts like diaphragm pumps and can pass sludge up to φ8mm, unlike conventional products that require maintenance for suction filters, resulting in a different dimension of wear, failure, and maintenance-free operation. 2. Unlike conventional products that rely on liquid drop differences and suction types, this device uses air vacuum power to forcibly suck in floating foreign substances while destroying them. 3. The oil-water separation tank is a sealed type with a gasket, which shuts out the smell of oil containing rotten bacteria. 4. Instead of regular cleaning maintenance of the oil-water separation tank, sludge can simply be scraped out into the sludge receiving box using the included sludge scraping shovel, depending on the accumulation of sludge inside the tank. 5. The structure prevents foam (mostly cutting fluid) from entering the waste oil barrel by de-foaming the foam in the sealed oil-water separation tank under pressure.

Applications/Examples of results
1. Recovery of floating substances (oil, sludge, foam) in cutting fluid and cleaning fluid tanks. 2. Removal of bacteria that cause the decay of cutting fluid and cleaning fluid, suppression of their occurrence, and prevention of bad odors. 3. Cost reduction by extending the life of cutting fluid and cleaning fluid. The bad odor from cutting fluid and cleaning fluid is caused by the presence of foreign substances such as oil covering the surface of the tank liquid, leading to the growth of anaerobic bacteria, which are the source of the odor. By keeping the top surface of the tank constantly pristine white and removing foreign substances from the liquid surface, we can cut off the nutrient source for anaerobic bacteria, thereby suppressing the occurrence of bad odors.

For the metal processing industry, reducing processing costs, minimizing the occurrence of defective parts, and increasing machine operating rates are important challenges. In particular, the chips that accumulate at the bottom of water-soluble cutting fluid tanks are sucked up by pumps, causing pipe blockages, defective products, tool breakage, and decreased machine operating rates. Additionally, the lubricating oil, fine chips, and sludge that float on the surface of the tank can cause the cutting fluid to deteriorate due to bacterial decay and unpleasant odors, drastically reducing its lifespan and increasing processing costs. Our company has been addressing these issues for many years. Users want to collect not only the sludge that accumulates at the bottom of the tank but also the floating sludge. There are complaints about the dewatering of the sludge. Users are troubled by uneven dewatering on the top and bottom surfaces of the recovery basket. Cleaning the basket inside the main unit after sludge recovery is very inconvenient. The FD-1 type sludge cleaner is a product equipped with excellent functions that solve all of these problems, which are not found in conventional products. We highly recommend that you confirm its performance with a demonstration unit.
