The "METALSORB series" is a chelating agent designed to remove heavy metals from water (primarily industrial wastewater) in an ionized state. The action of "METALSORB" is based on its chelating power. It captures divalent ions in the solution and generates insoluble salts that can be removed from the water. The chelating power derives from sulfur derivatives grafted onto organic molecules.
