The "Sarabane Chuck" is a chuck designed for high-precision gripping of large workpieces in turning and grinding operations. By applying axial force to components with slits in the sarabane, the outer diameter expands uniformly, allowing for stable processing as both the gripping force and the retracting force work simultaneously.
