<Sakata City Hall> We look forward to the potential of PaperLab in aiming to realize a "recycling-oriented society."
This is an introduction to the case study of our dry office paper machine, "PaperLab." In the entire office, we have been outsourcing the incineration of used documents to an external specialist once a month. However, the documents handled by the Citizen Affairs Division contain many important personal information, including My Number information, which requires strict consideration in their processing. To address this issue, we decided to introduce "PaperLab." Sakata City is working towards "realizing an environmentally friendly society" as part of its efforts to promote environmental conservation and waste management, focusing on reducing waste and promoting recycling. The PDF document clearly presents the challenges before the introduction and the effects after the introduction in an interview format. Since our founding in 1942, Epson has built a foundation of "compact, small, and precise technology" and has continuously engaged in creativity and challenges to deliver products and services that exceed customer expectations worldwide. Additionally, in the "Smart Charge MD Division / Paper Lab MD Section," we handle the dry office paper-making machine "PaperLab," which produces new paper from used paper without using water. By reducing the purchase of new paper and minimizing waste generated from offices, we protect the global environment, and in the paper-making process, we help ensure the complete erasure of document information for security protection.
