We will introduce the principle of obtaining three-dimensional coordinates through motion capture. With a single camera, we acquire the two-dimensional coordinate values X and Y of a flat marker. Each camera draws a perpendicular line on that two-dimensional coordinate, and the point where two or more lines intersect represents the depth Z, allowing us to obtain the three-dimensional coordinate values. In other words, to obtain the three-dimensional coordinate values of a single marker, two or more cameras are required.
