Maintains optical properties up to around 250℃! Infrared lens with no resource savings.
We offer "sintered zinc sulfide (ZnS) infrared lenses" that have a smaller temperature dependence of refractive index compared to conventional materials and can maintain optical properties up to around 250°C. Commercial ZnS powder (with particle sizes of a few micrometers) is crushed to particle sizes of several hundred micrometers, and impurities are removed through heat treatment. Subsequently, our product, shaped by discharge plasma sintering into a near-net shape, can withstand harsh environments with rain erosion and temperature fluctuations, making it suitable for outdoor use. 【Features】 ■ Final lens processing possible with minimal removal in the finishing process ■ Transmits a wide range of infrared wavelengths from 0.35 to 15μm ■ Usable even in areas with significant temperature changes ■ Resource-saving ■ High durability *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Sinterland was established to become a pioneering entity in Japan for the development of technology and production of products using the "Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) method," which is gaining attention as a new sintering processing technology. We are working towards the development of high-functionality and high-performance new materials that were difficult to achieve with conventional methods. The test ingots of advanced new materials produced by our company are utilized primarily by academic institutions such as universities and private research organizations, receiving high praise from various sectors.
