From April 2021, we have transitioned from traditional wire-wound potentiometers to conductive plastic (conductive resin resistance) potentiometers!
The manufacturer of the potentiometers we have been using for position feedback in our control motors will cease operations at the end of December 2020. As a result, the following models of potentiometers currently standardly equipped will be discontinued as of March 2021, and from April 2021 onward, we will update the model from the conventional wire-wound potentiometers to conductive plastic (conductive resin resistance) potentiometers. We believe that the conductive plastic potentiometers will significantly improve product performance as position feedback potentiometers built into control motors, as they offer superior durability and enhanced output resolution compared to conventional wire-wound potentiometers.
