This is a nozzle-flapper type hydraulic servo valve manufactured by the UK-based STAR Hydraulics, which has a proven track record in Europe. It is a compact and lightweight ST-200 series, about the size of a palm. It is suitable for hydraulic robots that require high responsiveness beyond that of hydraulic manipulators or electromagnetic proportional valves, which tend to become heavy despite needing delicate operations. Of course, it can also be used in general static testing machines.
