This holder features a thin hollow frame structure that provides high rigidity while also having the characteristic of quickly reaching thermal equilibrium. It is optimized for applications such as interferometric measurements and precise measurements.

In the MHX-25.4F-R, the mirror can be inserted from the back of the holder, and it can be fixed so that the reflective surface of the mirror is stopped by the edge of the mirror frame. This allows the mounting center of the rod and the reflective surface of the mirror to always align, even if the thickness of the mirror changes. (For MHX-***F/A, the mirror is inserted from the front of the holder. The MHX-12.7F-R allows the mirror to be inserted from the back, but it cannot accommodate a rod attachment.) The MHX-***F/F-R has three adjustment screws, which allow for adjustments in tilt and rotation, as well as moving the reflective surface back and forth. (The MHX-***A has two adjustment screws, so it only has tilt and rotation adjustment functions.) It is equipped with adhesive holes for mirror bonding, anti-rotation features, and positioning pin holes. The material used is high-density stainless steel, which has excellent strength, and the thickness has been reduced to achieve lightweight design. By thinning the frame, it quickly adapts to temperature changes and minimizes distortion of the frame caused by temperature distribution.

Please use a 2mm hex wrench to adjust the tilt and rotation. The tilt and rotation screws cannot be turned by hand. Additionally, a dedicated screw-in knob (MHX-K-M6) is also available as an alternative to the hex wrench.

We also have a dedicated lock (MHX-L-M6) for maintaining the adjusted angle.

Cannot be attached to the M6 rod (RO). If you are attaching a rod, please use the M4 and 8-32 UNC rods (ROC, RO-UU). The post stand (PST) and spacers with M4 tapped holes can be secured with M4 screws.
