We conduct conformity tests for specified electrical appliances based on Article 9 of the law and issue conformity certificates and conformity equivalence certificates. Manufacturers and importers can display the PSE mark, as stipulated by law, on their products after obtaining the conformity certificate and sell them. For electrical appliances other than specified electrical appliances, businesses are required to confirm compliance with the technical standards based on Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the law. We conduct conformity confirmation tests based on the request of the business and provide test reports. 【Features】 - In conformity confirmation tests, we conduct tests based on the technical standards of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law for representative products within the model category, as well as inspections of manufacturing facilities according to the regulations of the same law. - For overseas manufacturers, we issue conformity equivalence certificates, and for registered importers, we issue a copy of the conformity equivalence certificate (referred to as "equivalent to the certificate" as defined in Article 9 of the law). - When products are manufactured at overseas factories, we utilize our overseas partner organizations to conduct conformity confirmation tests and manufacturing facility inspections in the local language, thereby shortening the duration of conformity testing (Countries covered: China, Taiwan, South Korea, Germany). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act Enforcement Order designates 457 items as electrical appliances, of which 116 items are classified as specified electrical appliances. Manufacturers and importers of specified electrical products must undergo conformity testing and obtain a conformity certificate before selling, and they must keep this certificate on file. When a registered importer of specified electrical appliances manufactures and imports them overseas for sale, a copy of the conformity certificate is required, which will be issued to the overseas manufacturer that obtained the conformity certificate. Conformity assessment for specified electrical appliances can also be conducted on lots designated by the business operator. The registration categories for conformity testing of specified electrical appliances by our organization are as follows: - Small single-phase transformers and discharge lamp stabilizers - Electrical machinery and equipment for alternating current (excluding those listed in Article 19, Items 2 to 8 of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act Enforcement Regulations) - Electronic application machinery and equipment - Electric heating appliances - Electric power application machinery and equipment Testing for confirmation of compliance with technical standards based on Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Act, at the request of the business operator, can be conducted for only some of the test items of the technical standards.
