The cam parts, which were traditionally made by combining four components, have been significantly cost-reduced through MIM (Metal Injection Molding) by reducing processing and assembly man-hours. The four conventional components were manufactured through cutting processes, resulting in a high-precision cam part costing nearly 10,000 yen for the set. Tai Mori Industry has successfully reduced the cost of this part to less than one-tenth, bringing it down to within 1,000 yen using MIM. The dimensional accuracy is 0.01 mm.
