We will solve the issue of increased energy consumption during cloudy conditions in winter for electric vehicles!
Our company offers an "EV Anti-Fog and Air Conditioning System" that utilizes a "polymer adsorbent" developed in collaboration with Okayama University and local companies to extend the continuous driving range. Fogging of windows is caused by water vapor from the occupants, so by passing the vapor through the polymer adsorbent block, it can be removed, enabling anti-fogging. 【Technical Overview】 ■ Highly efficient air conditioning technology (specifically, air conditioning that incorporates humidity control) ⇒ Electric vehicles do not have an engine, so there is no heat source (specifically, waste heat). Therefore, particularly in winter, using battery power for defogging and heating results in a decrease in driving range (by 30-50%). Defogging, in particular, consumes a significant amount of power. Our company is developing technology targeting these issues. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Our company has established energy-saving technologies in the air conditioning field through many years of development of air conditioning systems. In particular, humidity control devices that utilize polymer adsorbents (hygroscopic agents based on acrylic resins) are one of the few business areas where Japan possesses fundamental technology. By applying this technology to next-generation vehicles such as electric cars, we aim to establish fog prevention and air conditioning technologies with low power load, and provide services that include our know-how and fundamental patents.
