SANMAC is a stainless steel with excellent and stable machining characteristics, achieving improved cutting speeds, reduced tool wear, and shorter setup times.
Aremar's stainless steel thick-walled pipes and round bars have been sold as part of the SANMAC series primarily in the European stainless steel market since the early 1990s. The SANMAC series has been developed through long-term research and improvements in collaboration with the Sandvik carbide tools division and the materials division to enhance the machinability of stainless steel and the design of tools suitable for machining. It is characterized by significantly improved machinability without compromising corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. This leads to increased cutting speeds, extended tool life, and reduced setup times. Today, our products are highly regarded by customers worldwide through our own sales bases spanning various countries. Aremar has obtained JIS factory certification and stocks a wide range of sizes and steel grades of stainless steel hollow bars. The stocked steel grades include austenitic stainless steel as well as duplex stainless steel. Please refer to the inventory list for details. Aremia primarily manufactures and sells advanced metal materials mainly composed of stainless steel and special alloys. Our products contribute to improving productivity, reliability, and reducing costs for our customers across a wide range of applications. The steelmaking plant is located in Sandviken, Sweden, and produces everything from raw material melting to rolling, heat treatment, inspection processes, and final products in a consistent manner.
