A new recognition technology to replace RFID! It is a two-dimensional color code that allows for high-speed and high-precision recognition of multiple items simply by holding it up from a distance without the need for close-up shots.
The Chameleon Code is a two-dimensional color code that uses cyan, magenta, yellow, and black as the basic colors, and green, red, blue, and orange as additional colors, allowing for patterns to be created with up to eight colors depending on the usage environment. It enables high-speed and high-precision multiple recognition simply by holding the Chameleon Code from a distance without close-up shots, making it a new recognition technology that can replace RFID and is beginning to be utilized in various fields. *Chameleon Code is a registered trademark of Shift Inc. 【Features】 ○ Reading equipment can be compatible with general-purpose devices ○ Long-distance recognition (up to 50m) *Dependent on the performance of the reading device ○ High-speed recognition ○ Simultaneous reading of multiple codes is possible △ Data cannot be rewritten △ Recognition in dark rooms or darkness is not possible

basic information
● All issuing and recognition equipment is general-purpose. Special devices like RFID are not necessary; any printer capable of color output, such as a standard label printer, inkjet printer, or laser printer, can issue codes. Additionally, code recognition can be performed with a standard camera, making all equipment compatible with general-purpose machines, thus enabling a low-cost implementation compared to RFID and similar technologies. ● Long-distance reading. As long as the camera is focused, reading is possible from a long distance (up to about 50 meters). ● Simultaneous recognition of multiple items (over 500). If they are within the recognition range, it is possible to simultaneously recognize multiple (over 500) Chameleon codes. ● Excellent reading speed. Chameleon codes within the camera's field of view can be recognized at ultra-high speed in less than one second for 20 codes, and recognition of products moving on a conveyor belt can occur at speeds of up to 150 meters per minute, allowing for the recognition of 20 codes per second. While the standard 2D QR code requires about 80% of the recognition screen area, Chameleon codes can be recognized with as little as 0.6% (300,000 pixels) or 0.15% (1.3 million pixels) of the area within the range.

Applications/Examples of results
Access control Asset management Logistics management Inventory management With traditional barcodes and QR codes, individual close-up scans are required for each item, which takes time. Additionally, RFID tags can be costly. With Chameleon Code, efficient and speedy operations can be achieved through bulk recognition of multiple items.
