Significantly reduce the man-hours for hexagonal mesh modeling with fully automated meshing of multi-pass welds (heat-affected zones)!
Jupiter-MuxWeld2 is a feature that creates hex mesh models for welding simulations. Three-dimensional analysis of multilayer welding with over 100 passes is made possible by the idealized explicit FEM developed at Osaka Prefectural University, Shibahara Laboratory. However, a hex mesh is required to calculate the welds using the idealized explicit FEM. Therefore, we have developed an automatic hex meshing function for welds and heat-affected zones exceeding 100 passes specifically for the idealized explicit FEM. Additionally, we offer a wealth of automatic (semi-automatic) features that significantly reduce meshing time for areas other than multi-pass welds. With Jupiter-MuxWeld2, the application of idealized explicit FEM to real-world problems becomes feasible. ############################################################################ For features and case studies, please refer to the product page linked above. TechnoStar has been developing domestic CAE software for 20 years, receiving guidance from many customers. Our main software, "Jupiter," has expanded beyond structural analysis, vibration analysis, and acoustic analysis to include fluid analysis, electromagnetic field analysis, and mechanism analysis, making it usable across various industries. Moving forward, we will continue to develop CAE software that can adapt to changes in the times, in collaboration with our customers.
