Collaborative research on design methods for collaborative robots that achieve "lightness" and "softness."
You can check the operating status by the color of the light! We have developed a prototype of a 7-axis collaborative robot.
In this joint research, we designed the concepts of "lightness" and "softness" for collaborative robots to ensure human safety while meeting market demands. We developed a prototype of a 7-axis collaborative robot, 'Beanus2', by using resin for the robot arm frame and adopting a high back-drivability reduction gear. This product can achieve a weight reduction of up to 1/2 compared to metal counterparts. Additionally, the lightweight design is expected to reduce impact during collisions, increase payload capacity, lower component costs, and save energy. [Results of Joint Research] - "Lightness" achieved through frame resinization - "Softness" achieved through high back-drivability reduction gear - Force control algorithm that realizes "softness" without sensors *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Based on the knowledge, experience, and know-how related to CMM/CMMI, embedded process improvement, and object-oriented technology that Mamezo possesses, we provide valuable support to our customers. Mamezo emphasizes a process-centered approach in solving issues such as quality degradation, delays in delivery, and cost overruns, adhering to the belief that "the quality of a system/product is governed by the processes used to develop and evolve it." A process is a means of integrating activities, procedures, methods, tools, and people to achieve expected results. Mamezo's embedded consulting focuses on this process, supporting balanced project management and overall improvement of system engineering activities from three perspectives: organization/people, technology, and processes.
