■Operating Principle There is no need to modify the source code when using AxProtector. It is simply integrated as a post-build process. The encryption operation is performed by AxProtector after the software is compiled and before the setup is created. AxProtector can be used from both a GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a command-line tool. As a command-line tool, AxProtector can be continuously integrated and executed in an automated build system. When the protected software is launched, the code of AxEngine is executed first. AxEngine checks for available licenses. If detected, they are automatically assigned and used for the decryption of the protected software. Furthermore, AxEngine performs integrity checks to verify the possibility of tampering attacks.
