This is a long stainless steel shaft with a maximum outer diameter of 350mm and a length of 4000mm. This stainless steel product has a structure where the shaft part and the flange part are welded together. It was manufactured and used by the customer, but there were frequent cracks at the welds. Therefore, we received a request to change the design and manufacture it as a single piece from a round bar. However, manufacturing from a round bar incurs higher costs for both materials and processing due to the waste involved. To address this, our company proposed a better processing method by minimizing waste through machining from forged products and selecting cooperating companies that meet customer needs from our diverse range of partner companies, achieving stable quality, cost reduction, and shortened delivery times. Additionally, our inspection department ensures product quality assurance through calibrated and managed inspection tools and three-dimensional measuring machines in accordance with ISO9001 quality assurance, as well as non-destructive testing (by qualified personnel).
