Okinawa Tokyo Instrument Co., Ltd., which manufactures flow control devices that combine flow meters and valves for semiconductor manufacturing processes, has introduced industrial robots and force sensors. Under the automation promotion project, we initially attempted automation with a robotic arm without a force sensor, but unfortunately, we faced setbacks. After considering various methods, we requested support from Epson for automation using a force sensor and C8 robot. Through repeated experiments, we reached the point of implementation.
