◆DC-UPS with Capacitor Storage & Buffer Module The DC-UPS with built-in supercapacitors is completely maintenance-free and avoids power outages measured in seconds. The buffer module with electrolytic capacitors operates similarly to the DC-UPS, avoiding power outages measured in milliseconds at 24V or 48V. The output voltage stabilizes in buffer mode and switches from normal mode to buffer mode without interruption. It protects all modules from overload and short circuits and accommodates a wide temperature range. Regular maintenance or replacement of capacitors is not required. ◆DC-UPS with Battery To install a DC-UPS system, three elements are essential: power supply, DC-UPS, and battery. The DC-UPS monitors and charges the battery, controlling the seamless transition between normal mode and buffer mode. ◆Battery Module for DC-UPS The battery module can be ordered with a battery (UZK) or without a battery (UZO). Both of Puls's battery modules adopt a one-battery concept.
