"SeaSafe II & SeaSafe Direct" is a pressure-resistant lithium polymer battery pack jointly designed and developed by SWE Corporation and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. It features pressure resistance and sealing capabilities that allow it to operate at depths of 6,000 meters in the deep sea, while achieving approximately 1/4 the weight of conventional lead-acid batteries (compared with the same specifications) and about 6 times the product lifespan. Additionally, "SeaSafe Direct" can be charged and discharged directly underwater without the need for a pressure-balanced oil-filled (PBOF) container.
