This is a new generation series of radiation thermometers that can be used according to various fields and applications, starting with low-cost types and including high-function versions for high-speed response, small points, long distances, as well as applications for glass measurement and film measurement, and heating types such as lamp heating and burners. General thermopile elements convert infrared radiation into heat and then into electrical signals, which limits their response time. However, the InSb (indium antimonide) element adopted by the TMHX-C series directly converts infrared radiation into electrical signals. This achieves the world's fastest response time for room temperature measurements, significantly reducing measurement time.

Compared to conventional models, the TMHX-C series, which uses InSb (indium antimonide) elements, has significantly improved stability. Additionally, by adopting shorter wavelengths of 2.0 to 6.8 μm, it is expected that the emissivity setting values for temperature measurements of metals (such as iron, SUS, and chromium) can be set nearly twice as high as those of conventional products, leading to further stability improvements.

The radiation thermometer emits a targeting light from the sensor head to align the measurement range with the measurement part of the workpiece, indicating the temperature measurement range. If the measurement range is not properly aligned with the measurement part of the workpiece, the temperature reading will be lower and cannot be measured accurately. The "coaxial LED targeting method" used in the TMHX series is close to the visible state of the temperature measurement range, making it easy to align the position.
