We will propose the optimal fluid coupling based on the starting characteristics of your rotating machinery!
We propose the optimal fluid coupling based on the technology and solid engineering capabilities cultivated from the experience of Voith. ◆ Applications Not only does it absorb the shock load from the driven side during the startup of large inertia machines, but it also absorbs the internal oil. ◆ Features As standard models, we offer fluid couplings with different delay chambers for each size: -T, -TV, -TVV, and -TVVS. This allows for a gentle startup without a sudden increase in torque, even for large inertia rotating machinery. ◆ Built-in Pulley Type We also have models with built-in pulleys, allowing for direct connection from the motor to the fluid coupling to the driven side without the need for installation of a plan block. This design eliminates the need for complicated alignment adjustments and saves space. ◆ Safety Device In addition to the standard fusible plug, a device for monitoring the temperature of the internal oil can also be added. This helps prevent blowouts caused by rising oil temperatures.

basic information
- We will select the optimal coupling according to the startup characteristics required by the customer. - The fluid coupling protects the drive unit from overloads (such as shock loads) on the machine side by providing a cushioning effect. - We also offer a lineup of large fluid couplings. - The fluid coupling + pulley configuration has advantages such as space-saving and eliminating the need for complicated alignment adjustments, making it suitable for use in rotating machinery. - With no wear parts and a robust structure, it can be used for a long time. Since overhauls can also be performed over an extended period, it can be said that the lifecycle cost is lower than that of electrical components like VFDs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact kenji.osawa@voith.com.

Our company was established in 1986 as the Japan branch of the Voith Turbo division of the German Voith Group. Over 700 large transmission systems have already been put into operation in power plants, refineries, steel mills, and other facilities both domestically and internationally through our company. Additionally, a domestic service center was established in Hokkaido in 2000, providing maintenance, design, and technical consulting services.
