The supply and retrieval of workpieces to the wire cut electrical discharge machine, RoboCut, has been fully automated using FANUC robots. By arranging two RoboCuts diagonally, it is possible to fit two RoboCuts within the operating range of a single robot. In RoboCuts, which generally have longer processing times, the robot's waiting time tends to be long.
