The history of Nosax began in 1924 when Susumu Noguchi founded a rubber boot manufacturer, Noguchi Gomu Seizojo. For 88 years since then, we have continuously made shoes for workers, overcoming various hardships such as the Sino-Japanese War, the Pacific War, and the destruction of our factory due to the atomic bomb. Our history of shoemaking is also the history of labor in Japan. Before the war, we produced rubber boots and tabi socks, and after the war, we began manufacturing safety shoes during the period of rapid economic growth, becoming the largest safety shoe manufacturer in western Japan. In recent years, with the diversification of labor environments and higher demands for safety and health, we have listened to the voices of workers and developed and proposed safety shoes tailored for specific uses, such as asphalt paving safety shoes and safety shoes for high-altitude work. Times have changed, and the circumstances surrounding labor safety have also changed significantly. While listening to the voices of workers and understanding the demands of the times, our company will continue to strive daily to provide optimal comfort and safety that meet the individual needs of all workers. Providing better safety shoes for every workplace. That has been our work and our pride since the Taisho era.
