The "Silver Deletion Pen AX" is a cover coat type erasing pen that simply requires you to paint over the areas you want to erase on the silver master plate. Traditional erasing pens for silver masters worked by dissolving the image area, but the "Silver Deletion Pen AX" adopts a cover coat method that forms a hydrophilic film by hydrophilizing the image area, preventing ink from adhering.
