Supports ultra-high-speed lines! One device with five functions! It is a multi-measuring instrument for optical fibers after coating.
The CM5 from CERSA is a measurement and inspection device for optical fiber cores after coating. - It can measure outer diameter, detect bumps, identify internal defects, check for internal delamination of the coating, and assess coating uniformity, all inline. A key feature is that it has no moving parts inside, eliminating the need for annual calibration. One unit per line! This is the new standard for optical fiber manufacturing lines. - Specifications □ Fiber diameter measurement: 50–400µm □ 5-axis unevenness detection □ Detection of internal defects in the coating (bubbles, impurities, delamination, etc.) (optional) □ Coating uniformity detection (optional) □ Fiber position measurement (for automatic alignment adjustment): ±0.1mm Additionally, by using the dedicated software CIM, it is easy to graph changes in wire diameter during the manufacturing process and automatically record the occurrence location and time of defects at the start of production. It is also possible to manage multiple devices collectively, which greatly aids in production management.
