A profile diagnosis report for managers was provided to companies. The profile diagnosis report offers prescriptions for discovering management styles, analyzing behavioral systems, and improving management skills. The diagnosis results are divided into over 100 patterns based on combinations of answers to multiple questions. To automatically generate the PDF, the following functions were necessary: - Set values for various fields such as name, date, and numerical data. - Generate pie chart images based on the diagnosis results and place them in the PDF. - Combine various template PDF pages according to the diagnosis patterns. This was achieved by utilizing the JavaScript functionality of "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro." Additionally, the pie chart images were generated by a dedicated standalone application. In the web system, the PDF of the diagnosis report was generated through the following steps: - Generate the pie chart image. ⇒ Generate the script for Acrobat's JavaScript. ⇒ After launching "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" from AppleScript, execute the JavaScript to automatically generate the PDF.
