The standard set includes the "main unit," "microphone included with the main unit," "sub-unit speaker microphone," and "AC adapter." It is a simple intercom that requires no wiring work; you can use it just by plugging the cables into the jacks of the main unit. It operates on AC 100V. The sub-unit has a mute function, which turns off the sub-unit microphone approximately 2 minutes after no one is present, and the microphone turns on again when someone approaches, thanks to a sensor feature.
