The customer manufactures and sells heating equipment and used filter components to avoid the intake of foreign objects from the air intake. The filter components had a structure where the filter was insert-molded, which incurred costs for purchasing the filter components and performing the insert molding. In this product, we changed from insert molding of the filter components to an integrated molding method using resin, aiming to automate the process from semi-automatic molding by hand to automatic molding using a removal machine.
