The manufacturing line for cast bars at Propelch Corporation can operate continuously or on a batch basis, achieving over 90% Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), as requested by most aluminum scrap refineries. The ingots can always be 8.5, 10.0, or 15.0 kg with a maximum length of 720 mm, but it is also possible to produce ingots with a length of 600 mm and different relative weights. Due to different plant configurations, it can provide ingot production speeds ranging from over 10 tph for secondary alloys up to 28 tph for pure aluminum.

The patented Properzi Track & Belt Ingot Casting Machine Model 1 and Model 2 converts molten metal into trapezoidal continuous casting linear bars with full repeatability accuracy. These casting bars are cut into precisely measured lengths of ingots by rotary shearing. Subsequently, the ingots are cooled on the line to a temperature of 70 to 80°C, enabling palletization and strapping with plastic or steel straps.
