basic information
The SI-60FWi is an interface converter that allows FA equipment and measuring instruments with an RS-232C serial communication port to connect to a wireless LAN network. It supports dual-band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless standards and is equipped with robust security features such as AES/CCMP and TKIP encryption. Serial communication supports arbitrary communication speed settings, and various configurations can be easily performed via USB using dedicated software. Additionally, by using the included COM port emulation software, devices connected to the SI-60FWi can be utilized as if they were directly connected to a computer's serial (COM) port, allowing existing serial communication programs to be used with minimal modifications. Of course, it is also possible to directly send and receive serial communication data using TCP/IP socket communication procedures. It features a robust and noise-resistant metal housing, and by not using electrolytic and tantalum capacitors, it achieves high reliability. As a super-compact communication device server, it can be widely used in manufacturing lines, public facilities, inspection equipment, and medical devices.
