basic information
The SI-65Wi is an interface converter that allows FA equipment and measuring instruments with RS-422/485 serial communication ports to connect to a wireless LAN network. It supports dual-band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless standards and is equipped with robust security features such as AES/CCMP and TKIP encryption. Serial communication supports arbitrary communication speed settings and can be easily configured using dedicated software via USB. Additionally, by using the included COM port emulation software, devices connected to the SI-65Wi can be utilized as if they were directly connected to the computer's serial (COM) port, allowing existing serial communication programs to be used with minimal changes. Of course, it is also possible to directly send and receive serial communication data using TCP/IP socket communication procedures. It features a robust and noise-resistant metal housing, and by not using electrolytic and tantalum capacitors, it achieves high reliability. It can be widely used as a compact communication device server in manufacturing lines, public facilities, inspection equipment, and medical devices.
