HAM/HSM high-pressure high-temperature single crystal diamond slurry
Advanced high-pressure high-temperature single crystal diamond slurry from Hydroquartz; standard high-pressure high-temperature single crystal diamond slurry from Hydroquartz.
High-pressure high-temperature single crystal diamond slurry is an aqueous formulation. It is a slurry in which high-pressure high-temperature single crystal diamond particles are dispersed in an aqueous liquid.
Water-soluble slurry does not dry out when exposed to air and is ideal as an alternative to oil-based polishing liquids. Our unique surface modification technology prevents the agglomeration of diamond particles. It is perfect for polishing superhard materials such as tungsten carbide, sapphire, and ruby. The sizes range from 0.2μm to 60μm.

Applications/Examples of results
Semiconductor technology is rapidly advancing due to new wafer manufacturing techniques, simulation, MEMS, and advancements in nanofabrication technology. In the semiconductor industry, the thinning of silicon wafers is achieved through fine grinding and polishing. Additionally, other electronic devices, such as printed circuit board manufacturing technology, are also experiencing significant growth, but challenges related to processing and thickness quality remain major concerns in the industry. These parameters are crucial for achieving the desired performance from diamond slurries for various industries. Qua! Diamond has a new methodology for synthesizing diamond slurries that meet or exceed these standards. Our Hydroqual Mono slurry or Hydroqual Poly D slurry can be used at each stage of the polishing process for electronic and semiconductor applications. In the thinning of silicon wafers, the size distribution of diamonds becomes very important to maintain consistent edge-to-edge flatness and good aspect ratio. Qua! Diamond can customize to meet these demands.
