"FoodScan2" is a near-infrared component measurement device equipped with calibration curves for various types of side dishes, frozen foods, and bento boxes. Samples that have been blended into a paste can be placed in a plastic bag and measured directly. In just 25 seconds of measurement time, it can simultaneously measure eight components per 100g of sample: moisture, protein, fat, carbohydrates, ash, sodium, dietary fiber, and sugars.
