[Case Study] Improvement of Durability Against Alkaline Solutions

Solving major issues that occur a few times a year! A case where resistance to alkaline solution was developed and peeling no longer occurred.

We would like to introduce a case study that solved the problems faced by cleaning equipment manufacturers, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, and plating equipment manufacturers. 【Problem】 ◆ Although fluororesin is coated, using an alkaline cleaning solution during the cleaning process causes the coating to peel off immediately. 【Improvement】 Many primers (adhesives) for fluororesin coatings expand in alkaline conditions, and depending on the concentration, there are many cases where they peel off quickly. Additionally, alkaline solution can penetrate through pinholes (small holes) in the coating, eventually pushing the coating film up from the inside and causing it to peel off.
